What is Face Lift Surgery?
Facelift (facelift, rhytidectomy) is a surgical method that removes sagging and wrinkles due to aging by stretching and hanging. However, in recent years, all interventions related to facial aging have begun to be referred to under the name of facial rejuvenation.

Types of Face Lift surgery
Midface Lift Surgery
Mid-face lift operations; It is the upward movement of the sagging cheek area tissue under the eyes. It can only be done with an incision made under the eye; It can also be done endoscopically (camera system) by entering through the scalp. It is generally suitable for middle-aged patients aged 40-55 years. The operation is performed with local or general anesthesia, the average operation time is 2 hours.
Mini Face Lift Surgery
Mini face lift operations; It is usually applied to younger patients under the age of 45-50. These patients are those who have not sagged much in the face area yet, who have gravity and collagen loss in the cheek parts of the face and slight drooping downwards in the cheek area. The operation is performed to lift the sagging cheek area of the patients. It is aimed to lift the cheek area. Loose tissue is removed from the front of the ear, the inner tissue is tightened. Full Face Lift Surgery
In full face lift operations, the entire cheek area, jaw line and neck are stretched with an incision starting from the scalp area of the temple, continuing in front of the ear and ending behind the ear. In full facelift surgery, not only the skin can be stretched, but also the underlying connective tissue called SMAS can be stretched, so that the connective tissues under the skin, mimic muscles and all tissues that have loosened down can also be intervened. With the touches made to these deep tissues under the skin, the loose and sagging elements are moved to the places where they should be on a normal face and the existing disorders are eliminated. Full face lift operations are suitable for older skin structures and are applied to patients aged 55-60 on average. The operation is performed under general anesthesia, the average operation time is 2-4 hours.
